In Memory

We in the Minority Caucus are truly sadden at the loss of one of our own, Len Ponzi.

Len was like family to us and we looked to him for his wisdom and knowledge of both Oswego County and the legislature.

We will miss your smile, we will miss your voice and we will miss the very great effect you had in all our lives.

Len we miss you and we can truly say the world is a lesser place without you here.

Correcting the Record

The Fulon Daily News ran this statement in an article today entitled (County Holds Off On Vacancy Decisions) "Some — including the full Minority — debated that the committee should not be allowed to hand pick a candidate."

Taken at face value and not being at the actual meetings you would think that the "entire" Minority Caucus all stood up and said the "local Republican Committee" should not have a recommendation....that was not the case. The real issue was that the nominations, both Republicans, should go thru the Legislative Committee process.

The fact was several members (Minority Caucus) voted for the Republican Committee's choice.

Clearly this changes the light at which the "reporters opinion" is viewed.
